On thing to factor in is the possibility that a dealer may include an extended warranty in the deal for the purchase of a new or used unit. Additionally, at least some extended warranties are transferable. That may help if/when you sell the unit to another purchaser. The peace of mind factor may make the purchase of a warranty worth it, even if you never use it, when it comes to a private resale.
RE: Kodiak Island - Worth the Time and $ to go?
We're from Alaska. Kodiak is a great place if you love rain and: 1. you are fishing; 2. hunting; or 3. a Russian Orthodox monk. I would not spend that $ for a trip to Kodiak. Many locations on the Kenai Penninsula - including Kenai and Homer have the view and look/feel of Kodiak. I know many Alaska natives who have never been to Kodiak Is. We went to Kodiak to hunt Sitka Blacktail deer. We were always cold and wet. Kodiakers have webbed feet - true!

The 30 foot Lazy Daze Models ("IB" Island Bed and "TB" Twin Bed) are only offered with an entertainment center (no cabover bunk option). The 23 and 26.5 foot models all come with the cabover bunk with the entertainment center only offered as an option.
